Art show- Romancing with Nature for AMH, Singapore

The Tree of Life Feature wall:
Crafted with many textures, the “Tree of Life” serves as a reminder of our universal connection to the beguiling nature and our dependence on it to grow and flourish. It is an exquisite fusion of beaten brass and hand textured painted surface, which is further augmented with hand carved wooden elements.

The Osmosis Frame:
This stunning accent frame is accentuated with a melange of prints, textures and materials, that is a perfect composition showcasing how different techniques can complement so beautifully with one another. The manifest charm of fusing modern technology with century old craftsmanship in a contemporary space can be clearly demonstrated in this frame. The various handcrafted elements used here are copper filigree, stone inlay on stone, champagne foiling along with floral motifs and textures on rose gold mirror.

Wall Art Frames:
Art pieces that are artisanally crafted showcasing different aspects and moods of nature. The beauty of these artworks are magnified by the master craftsmen that practice the traditional Tanjore art, hand textured painted surfaces, gold zardosi embroidery, Tarkashi, Thikri, carving as well as textures on mirror and copper surfaces.

Handcrafted Cushion Range:
Our cushions are inspired by local flora and fauna set in exotic textiles, hand embroidered using artisanal techniques like beading work, kantha work, salli work, zardozi, swarovski stones and many more.

Handcrafted Coasters:
Our handcrafted coasters, uniquely themed and made from exquisite fusion of intricate and beautiful techniques. Here we have- Tarkashi, Etching, surfaces of beaten and plain brass, silver, copper and acrylic sheets, showcasing traditional craftsmanship of wooden engraving, wood on wood inlays and metal inlays with gorgeous Sheesham wood base.

Romancing with nature has gone through transitions of form, from bare-book concepts to final installations that have been showcased at the Ipsa Ipse Ipsum store in Singapore, before settling into their new home at AMH Studio.

I first worked with my creative director, from drafting evocative concepts to ideating intricate themes and experimenting with different motifs, surfaces, textures and products, to execution of the designs. In the execution stage, I sat with the concepts and put them together to make the artwork fit into each product's skeleton. I also worked with my  production team in later stages to oversee the materialisation of the final designs.
